Students need to bring: six 4" x 4" swatches including 2 stockinette, 1 garter, 1 moss, and 2 swatches with 10 rows of k1, p1 ribbing and the rest of the swatch in stockinette; 2 strips of stockinette measuring 4" x 10"; darning needles, scrap yarn in different colors to sew in contrast, and a project for consultation if you have one. 

DESIGN A SWEATER

 

Learn how to design a sweater using a swatch for gauge and a sweater or garment that you love the fix for measurements. Debbie will explain how to make a knitted garment based on measurements from a garment that fits great!

Block like an expert! Karen explains all the blocking tricks of the trade. Learn how to block different fabrics, shapes, and textures. Karen will consult on projects that participates bring. 

FINISHING 

 

Learn essential finishing techniques to bring your projects to the next level. Karen will clearly demonstrate how to sew together different knitted textures.

STEEKING

 

Take this amazing class and learn how to seek. Debbie makes one of the most feared knitting techniques into an amazing tool for knitting sweaters in the round. Previous students have been empowered to be fearless steekers!
